Short Bio
This is a short bio about my academic life mainly.

I was born on the 9th of July 1979 in Ten Boer.
After High School I studied Computer Science at the University of Twente. In the time I attended to university, universities in the Netherlands were quite different from universities at the rest of world in the fact that you could only do a Master Equivalent study at Dutch universities from the very start at university. In the final years at university I specialised in AI and Natural Language Processing.
As part of my Master Equivalent title I went to New Zealand for a practical training. I was involved in a AI project of team strategy at the Infoscience Department of the University of Otago.
When I returned to the Netherlands I commenced my final Masters project and did a research project with Machine Translations driven by Case Based Reasoning at the Language, Knowledge and Interaction group at the University of Twente. My Master Thesis is available in my Publications section.
I'm now a full time PhD student at Department of Computing in the Division of Information and Communication Sciences at Macquarie University
