Broadband Signal Processing
As the carrier frequency and bandwidth used in radio telecommunication systems increases, it becomes practical (and in some cases necessary) to use optical techniques and technologies to generate and process the signals.
The aim of the projects below is to investigate photonic techniques for time and/or frequency domain processing of broadband microwave and optical signals.
