Howdy! As I'm sure you have gathered, my name is Stephen Gilmour. This particular page is about me personally. I'm a 6 foot 8 ape decendent, and someone is trying to knock my house down. However, this doesn't compare with the inexplicable event occuring later today where my home planet Earth, situated in an obscure corner of the outer spiral arm of the galaxy, is going to be destroyed to make way for a hyperspace bypass. I could never cope with Thursdays. |
A bit about my educational background. I went to Barker College, Hornsby, and I completed the HSC in 1997. I started doing a BSc at the University of Western Sydney in which I was going to major in Mathematics and Computer Science. After a year, I changed to a Bachelor of Computer Science at Macquarie University. In 2002 I did Honours and in 2003-2007 I worked upon my PhD in Computing at Macquarie University.
I am a bit of a movie buff and a total DVD nut. My top five favourite movies are:
