Honours
I did an honours year in Macquarie University's Department of Computing in 2003. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree in early 2004.
Research project: Identifying and resolving one-anaphora
My honours project (supervised by Robert Dale) was titled "Identifying and resolving one-anaphora." My thesis is available in PDF format.
Coursework
I did the following subjects:
- COMP348 Intelligent Text Processing;
- COMP448 Advanced Topics in Natural Language Processing;
- COMP451 Complex Systems and Agent-Based Simulation;
- COMP453 Question Answering; and
- COMP495 Academic Presentation and Writing Skills.
I also did a reading unit with Mark Dras, which resulted in the below transliteration of my name in Tengwar:
The second two runes are a terrible rendering of the dipthong in my first name, but I didn't want to leave out my one chance at transliterating a dipthong.
