Wireless Logging In
To Log In
Start up a web browser. If you leave the Macquarie domain you will automatically be directed to the log in page at https://wireless-gateway.mq.edu.au/login.pl
Occasionally you may have difficulty connecting to the wireless network. Rebooting (as in re-starting the computer, not as in just logging out and logging back in again) often helps resolve the problem.
After logging in, a pop-up window like the one below should appear (the window won't appear if your computer has popups blocked or doesn't support java-script pop-up windows. Most handhelds don't.)
To Log off
Simply click on the "Click to Logout" link in the pop-up window. If you have accidently deleted the pop-up window, you can get it back by returning to the the log in page at https://wireless-gateway.mq.edu.au/login.pl
If your browser doesn't support pop-up windows, restarting or shutting down (correctly) will usually log you off.
Usernames and Passwords
Macquarie Students, log in using your Student-ID and myMQ portal Password.
Macquarie Staff, login using your staff dialup usename and password.
