Application Process for MU PGRF

Research students can get funding of up to $4,000 from this source.
Requests for funding to the ICS PGRF that could have been submitted to MQPGRF rounds will not be considered this year. It is assumed that any significant requests for funding ($3,500 and over) will be submitted to the MQPGRF rounds in the first instance. Bridging finance and funding of expenses over the MQPGRF maximum amount of $4,000 will be available to all MQPGRF applicants from the ICS PGRF.

All applications to this MQPGRF round will be reviewed in the Department before they are submitted to the Research Office.

The divisional process is as follows:
Firstly, read the instructions
http://research.mq.edu.au/researchers/funding/internal/pgrf2 very carefully.


Then:
1) Submit a hardcopy of your application to Agnieszka in the division office by 11 am on the 2nd of April.
2)Your application will be assessed by the Departmental Directors and returned to you with corrections by the 3rd April.
3) Submit the hardcopy and softcopy (by email) of the final version to the tray on Agnieszka's desk by 5pm, 11th April. The hardcopy must have the following signatures: student, supervisor, Head of Department and Karu Esselle (on behalf of the Dean) before it can be submitted.
4) Please ask the supervisor to submit their report in both hard and soft copy to the tray on Agnieszka's desk by 5pm on the 11th April.
5) Agnieszka submits both copies of the application and report to the Research Office by the due date 13 April 2007 at 5.00pm.
6) Note that Agnieszka is on leave 4th-11th April inclusive.
Important: Don't forget to attach copies of your annual reports and any other supporting documentation, including quotes, letters of invitation or acceptance, to the hardcopy of your application. If you do not have past copies of your annual reports, please notify your departmental administrator and they will order your student file containing this information.
