Title: Information Support for the Efficient Use of Textual Information in
Medical Environments.
Speaker: Diego Molla

In this presentation I'll talk about an ARC Discovery project I'm preparing
in conjunction with Grace Chung (UNSW) and with some input from Cecile
Paris. The idea is to develop technology that would facilitate a medical
practitioner search public research papers from PUBMED for information
related to a specific question, such as "what are the effects of drug XXX in
male patients with diabetes?". We plan to combine technology from
information retrieval, question answering, and multi-document summarisation.
