Title: Unlocking UN documents: Computational Linguistics approach
Speaker: Alexandre Rafalovitch

In this presentation, I will give a general overview of (a small subset of)
United Nations documents. I will discuss how the documents are worked with
at the moment and why I believe the Computational Linguistics approach is
both research worthy and practically interesting. I will describe current
(early) state of my research, but will also point out areas that might be
interesting to other researchers. If there will be any time left, I will
spend it pleading with other researchers to switch to UN corpus as their
contribution to helping humanity .
