Title:  Memoirs of a PhD... and stuff...
Speaker: Stephen Wan

Abstract:
I'll present some personal observations on the whole PhD process.   We might
discuss a few of these points to see if there's anything to be improved.

If time permits I'll outline some recent thoughts on statistical sentence
generation and on "task-based" summarisation.  This is work in progress.
