[Ltg] LT Barbie Update

Dear all

Just a reminder covering some significant details for the LT Barbie on
Scotland Island on Sunday 4th February 2007.  For planning purposes, if you
haven't already let me know you are coming, please do.

1	Barbie starts at around 1pm.  There's a 1230pm ferry from Church Point
that will get you there nicely in time; runs hourly.  See

get to Scotland Island.

2	If you need transport, pls email me so I can link you up with someone.
Getting to Church Point (where you get the ferry or taxi to Scotland Island)
by public transport is only for the very patient.

3	If you are able to offer a space in your car, please let me know which
suburb you are driving from so I can line you up with a wheel-less person or
two.

4	Please bring something to throw on the barbie and your favourite beverage;
salads etc will be provided.  If you're carrying a lot of beer and prefer it
to remain cold, you might consider also bringing a bag of ice, on sale at
the Church Point store.

5	Small people, significant others, visiting rellies and hangers-on all
welcome, but again, please give me forewarning.

6	Severe rain stops play.

relevant information, so check that on the morning before leaving, or give
me a call on 0413 383 248.  Right now the 28-day forecast suggests Sunday
will be fine but of course that can change...
