Title: Developing NLP applications with GATE.
Speaker: Pawel Mazur

During this talk I will present GATE: General Architecture for Text Engineering developed by NLP group at University of Sheffield, UK. This talk will be an introduction to GATE showing by whom and for what purposes it can be used. This will cover description of architecture, processing flow, basic data structures, available tools and possibilities of usage and integration with other software. A subjective summary of advantages and disadvantages will be presented. I hope it will be possible to carry a few live demos as well.
