[Ltg] LTG Micro Conference

As discussed two weeks ago, we will have an LTG Micro Conference on Monday, April 24, 2006. The goal of this event is to give Dan Jurafsky a quick overview of our research, so that he will get an idea of what is going on in our group. Therefore, please prepare about 5 slides which give an overview of your research project (for example: research problem, research hypothesis, research method, expected outcome and impact - and of course explain why your research is the coolest thing on earth).

I will not be around on April 24, therefore please send these slides to Menno no later than

    Friday, April 21, 5 pm 

and keep in mind that you will have exactly 5 minutes to present and sell your research. After 5 minutes Menno will pull out the plug ...
