Title: Structures for Supporting Your Research
Speaker: Robert Dale

It has almost become a tradition that I give a version of this talk around 
the beginning of each year. It's primarily for the benefit of new PhD 
students in the group, but I like to think that its content is useful to 
those who are further on in their careers too.  In the talk, I cover a wide 
range of topics that are oriented towards making your research both visible 
and productive. I think the talk improves each year on the basis of input 
provided by the audience, so even if you've heard versions of it before, 
please come along again and make it better.
