[Ltg] Frequency List

Hi

Does somebody have an electronically readable frequency list of let's say 
the 3000 most often used English words? To be more precise, I am especially 
interested in content words (nouns, verbs, adjectives, and adverbs). I don't 
mind if this list comes with additional syntactic information :-)and I don't 
mind using the LDOCE3-NLP database if somebody of you has a copy of it. I 
would like to build a basic lexicon for PENG so that the user doesn't have 
to define all the content words from scratch using the lexical editor.
