Trial of LIVE Audio Streaming of HAIL Seminars

Starting tomorrow, we will be trialling live audio streaming of HAIL seminars.

The first seminar we attempt this with will be Professor Mark Steedman's
seminar on Thursday 2nd September 2004 at 11am.

We will also attempt this with Professor Bonnie Webber's seminar on Friday
3rd September 2004 at 11am.

At around 11am on Thursday/Friday, you should be able to tune into the live
audio feed, which is available at
<http://webcast.nsw.csiro.au/httpfs/ICT/HailSeminar/live.asx>

Note that the audio feed will only be accessible during the actual seminar
(ie from 11am until 12pm), not before or after. We will at some stage
make an archive of audio recordings available on the HAIL web site.

We are also investigating the possiblity of providing live video streams of
HAIL seminars in the near future. We'll make an announcement if and when this
service becomes available.
