The MediaRank Project

I shall give a talk on my work on the MediaRank Project within the AiS/Fraunhofer institute: Six commercial Text Document Classifiers/Named Entity Recognisers were tested on the German PAN and DPA archives. Additionally, the performance of professional archivists from same PAN and DPA was measured and compared with the machine performance. 

The results did not please everyone ...
