Title: Answerfinder: TREC 2003 and 2004

Abstract:

Diego Molla's Answerfinder system, a question answering system that uses
minimal semantic representations for ranking potential answers to
questions, was entered in the TREC Question Answering track in 2003. I
will review the strategies used by Answerfinder; discuss its performance
in TREC 2003; discuss recent improvements to its performance; and describe
some of the changes that will need to be made for the TREC 2004
competition.
