Venkat Balakrishnan is a PhD student in the Computing Department. He is also working as a Research Assistant in Information and Networked Systems Security (INSS) Research Group. His research interests include security and trust in wireless mobile ad hoc networks, sensor networks, and peer-to-peer networks. He was sponsored for the EII-PhD School in 2005 by the Australian Research Council, and was an exchange scholar to Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Roorkee in 2004. Before commencing his PhD, he worked as a Research Assistant at Smart Internet Technology Research Group, University of Sydney . He completed his Masters (Computer Networks) at University of Sydney in 2003 and ranked second in his undergraduate, Bachelor in Computer Science and Engineering, University of Madras. |
