Scott McCallum is a Lecturer in Computing at Macquarie University. His research interests include symbolic and algebraic computation and theoretical computer science. He enjoys teaching mathematical aspects of computing such as algorithm analysis and program verification. He received his B.Sc. (Hons.) in mathematics from the University of Sydney in 1978, his M.Sc. in mathematics from the University of Sydney in 1980 and his Ph.D. in computer sciences from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1984. He is a member of the Association for Computing Machinery's Special Interest Group on Symbolic and Algebraic Computation (ACM-SIGSAM) and the Australian Mathematical Society (AMS). Other active interests of his include tennis and singing. |
