Leszek is an Associate Professor of Computing. He obtained his MSc and PhD degrees in Informatics from University of Economics, Wroclaw, Poland (in 1972 and 1977, respectively). Between 1981 and 1984, he worked as an Associate Professor at Kuwait University. Prior to joining Macquarie University in 1991, he was a Senior Lecturer at the University of Wollongong (1985 - 90). He authored in excess of 100 publications, including books "Database Design and Implementation" (Prentice Hall, 1990, "Requirements Analysis and Systems Design", 2nd ed (Addison-Wesley 2004) and "Practical Software Engineering" (Addison-Wesley 2004). He specializes in enterprise information systems, databases, object technology, and software engineering. |
