My experience, starting in 1970, consists of about fifteen years in the information technology industry working as a programmer, systems analyst and manager. The remainder has been as an academic in Sydney at UTS and Macquarie University. I retired from teaching in 2007 and am now a Research Fellow in the Computing Department at Macquarie University. My degrees are as follows: MSc by research in general topology and an MBA, both awarded in the early 1970's by the University of Cape Town; PhD awarded by Macquarie University in 2003.
