ICSID

An ICSID is the username and password used to authenticate to IT resources within the Faculty of Science. These include:

ICSID is based on your Active Directory details. ICS-Legacy-ID systems are being phased out. UNIX systems can now be accessed using your ICSID.

Obtaining ICSID

The ICSID is created when you join the Faculty or by having an Account Request form submitted by an existing user on your behalf.

The ICSID is created automatically from enrollment details. See student accounts.

Checking ICSID

Login to http://www.ics.mq.edu.au/test/. If your ICSID is valid, a message will be displayed. If not, you will receive a "forbidden" message.

Changing ICSID Passwords

Visit http://support.ics.mq.edu.au/ics/password.asp. Please see information on choosing secure passwords.
