Student Accounts
Undergraduate users are allocated two accounts. One Active Directory account to login to the PC labs and a Unix account for access to Titanic (200 level units) or Pompeii (300 level units).
Both accounts share the same username: "s1234567" where 1234567 are the first 7 digits of your 8 digit student ID card. The initial password is ddmmyy#changeme where ddmmyy is your date of birth. For example, 2nd May 1982 would be 020582#changeme. You must reset the password. Remember both Unix and Windows accounts are linked and changing the password of one will change both!
Use the correct lab as per your unit. Generally 100 level subjects (Comp123, Comp124, Comp125) are allocated labs E6A110 and E6A112.
Most 200 level subjects (Comp224, Comp225, Comp226, Comp227, Comp238, Comp248, Comp249) are allocated labs E6A121 and E6A123.
Most 300 level subjects (Comp321, Comp323, Comp326, Comp327, Comp329, Comp330, Comp331, Comp332, Comp340, Comp348, Comp349, Comp399) are allocated lab E6A119 and E6A116.
