Speaker: Arjen Lenstra Title: Likely and unlikely progress in factoring
Abstract: In this talk recent developments related to integer factorization will be discussed. This includes actual factoring efforts using distributed software implementations, Bernstein's factoring circuits, Shamir and Tromer's TWIRL factoring hardware, and the prospects of polynomial-time factoring on a quantum computer.
